I had a fantastic stay at a cozy hostel in a lively neighborhood. the staff were friendly and helpful, and the communal areas were comfortable and inviting. the kitchen had everything I needed to cook my own meals, and the cafe on-site was a great convenience. the location was perfect, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. the beds were comfortable and had convenient features like sockets and lockers.
The shower was a bit temperamental, sometimes going cold when someone flushed the toilet or ran the tap.

We had a great experience staying at Hostal Macondo. The staff was wonderful and made us feel like we were staying at a large home. The cafe and seating area were great, and the internet was fast. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and felt just like home. Our female dorm wassuper clean and cozy. we would highly recommend it.
The only issue we encountered was with the shower temperature fluctuating from hot to cold and not regulating properly. considering it's a hostel, this was to be expected and not a major drawback.

I had an amazing stay at this hostel! The atmosphere was perfect, with lots of plants and decorations, creating a good mood and vibes. The common areas, both indoors and outdoors, were comfortable and a great place to meet other guests. The staff were super kind and made an effort to get to know the guests, even though my Spanish skills were limited. The hostel was clean, and there was a kitchen accessible at all hours. The location was fantastic, in a great area near many venues and where local friends live. I will definitely be coming back to this place!

I always stay at this place in Bogota. The staff helped with my bags on my first stay, which was nice. It has everything I need - free Wi-Fi, laundry, coffee shop, game room, pets allowed. Perfect for my city break. No regrets.

The rooms at Hostal Macondo Bogota are cozy and welcoming. They have a nice desk where you can sit and work if needed. The bed linen is clean and comfortable, and the patio with a garden view is absolutely delightful. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or relax in the evening. As a solo traveler, I felt right at home in these rooms.
One thing that I personally was not a fan of was the shared bathroom with a shower. But I understand that some people may not mind it and still find it convenient.
